About the Royal Enfield Classic 350
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 is a retro-styled single-cylinder motorcycle. The current model is built on Royal Enfield's J-platform, with a 349 cc air-oil cooled engine, fuel injection, a balancer shaft to reduce vibration, and a five-speed gearbox.
It is made for longer rides: from North Goa down to the quieter beaches in the south, or up into the Western Ghats. It is comfortable at a steady pace and pulls well from low revs.
It is heavier than it looks. At 195 kg kerb weight with an 805 mm seat height, it is not a first bike. It suits riders who already have motorcycle experience and a motorcycle licence. Two helmets and a basic tool kit are included.

Tips for using it in Goa
- Check you can hold the bike upright with both feet down before you set off. At 195 kg, low-speed manoeuvres and parking on sand take effort.
- Carry your motorcycle licence on every ride. Checks on rented two-wheelers are common in Goa.
- Plan long rides for the morning, and take breaks in the midday heat.
- Avoid parking on soft sand or steep slopes, where the side stand can sink or slip.
- Keep the tool kit on the bike for longer trips away from towns.

No. You need a licence that covers geared motorcycles.
Is it suitable for a beginner?
We do not recommend it. The Classic 350 weighs 195 kg and is heavier than it looks. It suits riders with motorcycle experience.
Is it comfortable for two people?
It has an upright riding position and a wide seat, and two helmets are included. Riding two-up adds weight, so it suits riders who are already confident on a heavier bike.
Does it have ABS?
Yes. Royal Enfield fits single-channel or dual-channel ABS, depending on the variant.
How do I start it?
Royal Enfield lists electric start for the Classic 350. If it will not start, check that the kill switch is in the run position and the bike is in neutral, then contact the host.
